“The Sissy Boy Experiment” – A CNN documentary, unbelievable !!
CNN documentary reveals tragic consequences of ‘experimental therapy’ designed to make young boys ‘more masculine’
CNN are to screen a three-part documentary about a form of ‘experimental therapy’ designed to make ‘feminine’ boys more masculine. The documentary, entitled The Sissy Boy Experiment, tells the story of Kirk Andrew Murphy who despite success in school, the Air Force and his subsequent career, took his own life in 2003 at the age of 38. As CNN reveal, initial confusion as to why Murphy took his life led to the emergence of a dark secret. According to his mother, Kaytee Murphy, he “played with girls’ toys”, and displayed “too many effeminate traits”. She said it bothered her because she wanted her son to have “a normal life.”Read the full article on PinkNews and don’t forget to read the comments as well
Below is the CNN series. Many thanks to the YouTube Channel SuchIsLife for bringing this to us. My personal opinion is that the related story is about the worst kind of injuries on children, a mayhem. The results of this inhuman practice are terrible: suicide for the ones, life long scars for the others. On a worldwide level, this practice should be condemned ( see article on Newsvine ).
( Introduction on YouTube ) – "In 1970, a five-year-old boy named Kirk Murphy was subjected to an ex-gay experiment. Under the care of Dr Ivor Lovaas and George Rekers, then a doctoral student, of UCLA, he underwent therapy to eliminate supposed effeminate behaviors. In 1974, Lovaas and Rekers jointly published a paper about the boy they renamed "Kraig," heralding his treatment for "childhood cross-gender problems" * a success and claiming he had been transformed from a gender-confused homosexual-in-waiting * to a healthy, heterosexual young man. On the back of this study, Rekers built a career as an anti-gay activist and a supposed expert in childhood sexual development. He co-founded the Family Research Council and championed reparative therapy to turn gay men straight. In 2003, Kirk, aged 38 years old and gay, committed suicide."
* Do you notice how hypocritical this vocabulary is? Don’t forget, that "George Rekers, then a doctoral student" had not even completed school at that moment!
